We recommend always dimensioning with a 3-4 times safety margin between the maximum working pressure of the hydraulic system and the burst pressure of the hose. These hydraulic hoses are made of synthetic rubber and reinforced with wound two-ply steel cord. The hose type should be used where high flexibility is required and external mechanical protection is not the highest priority. If long life and high resistance to external mechanical influences are important for the application, another hose type similar to LS51ES - LS1001ES should be selected.
